The World Zionist Organization and the World Forum of Russian-speaking Jews are beginning to close cooperation. The organization will hold a song contest "Hallelujah" in June in Kiev - in the Jewish Agency Board of Trustees meeting.
The Froggy team was at the Final Contest for the International Singing Contest Hallelujah in 2012, attended by 30 young Jewish singers members of Jewish communities around the world. The evening was held in the square Ussishkin Ramat Hasharon.
Toronto’s Evan Malach is the new “Jewish star” after winning the Hallelujah Global Hebrew Singing Contest for Jewish Talent finals Saturday night in Israel. Malach topped the voting with his rendition of Ehud Banai’s K’nani Blues.
The competition has helped last year’s finalists take a giant running leap into the professional music industry. Many have become stars in their home countries, and they are all inspiration for Jewish youth across the world.
TEL AVIV – Relaunched in 2011 after a 17-year break, with the objective of attracting Jewish youth to their heritage, the Hallelujah Global Singing Contest is back this year and auditions are now open.
Mara Abramson, who participated in the Hallelujah-Global Jewish Singing Contest in February 2011, relates: "My month in Israel will long remain one of the most important and defining experiences of my life.
The upcoming Hallelujah program will take place in Israel in December 2014. From the 2013 Local Contest in Ukraine and the online auditions received, the Hallelujah Team of Judges have chosen 26 singers to participle in the Hallelujah 2014 contest in Israel.
